Not sure what has happened but this place is totally different. At least the drive thru is. Whoever you have running the drive thru tonight about 7pm needs to go to every McDonald's in the area and teach the others how to act! Should make him a trainer immediately. I will be back there just because of how I was treated. Good job owners. Finally turning a horrible restaurant around. Please keep it up!

Food was on point. Service was courteous and professional. Bathrooms were clean and smelled good. Dining area was clean and comfortable.

Chose to eat my lunch at the galena st. Location in Dixon il and as I was pulling in I instantly was regretting my decision as I witnessed the influx of students from the Dixon high school. I wished I hadn’t deleted my phone app to order but went in anyway. Yup, the lobby was packed with students waiting to order, so I decided to saddle up to the remote kiosk and place my order. Low and behold, 5 minutes or less my order was called up. I Was impressed. Additionally, the staff has handily processed all of the students that had migrated there for lunch before I was through my first sandwich. Then the second and third wave came through and were processed before I had finished my whole meal. Granted I took my time to watch how seamlessly this McDonald’s staff worked through the glut of customers without a hitch. My hat off the the owner/manager for excellent planning and training of her staff and the self respect the staff had for themselves to work that well.

This McDonald’s has changed to new management and ownership, and it’s important to mention because the old owners consistently served low-quality food. While the staff is still working on improvements, there are signs of progress. The service feels friendlier, the place is cleaner, and the food quality is starting to get better compared to the past.

We are from out of town and stopped in for dinner, manager Carl was very helpful and was constantly working away handling the register, helping in the kitchen and then next thing we see he is out sweeping the dining area. We felt compelled to drop this review as this is a rare quality anymore, nice job McDonald's.

We received good service. But I wish that the west most ordering board in the drive-thru. It's very hard to read.

kiosk ordering does not promote good customer service. There was no alternative to it. At least not on that Saturday morning. Kiosk ordering takes longer but I get it saves on staff time. They can be doing other things. The young lady who brought our order to the table was very nice.
